This class will cover the following topics for Rio Grande instruments:
1) Use of GPS
2) Alternatives to GPS
3) Optimizing ADCP configuration
4) Collecting and processing data for velocity mapping
5) Use of echo sounders with WinRiver
6) Data review procedures
7) Advanced field tests

PLEASE NOTE: Entering an individual in the USGS NTC Training Management
System (TMS) DOES NOT nominate them for this class. You MUST follow the
instructions below to nominate students for these classes. Likewise,
nominating someone for this class using the instructions below DOES NOT
enter them into TMS.  Once you have completed the nomination via the
hydroacoustics pages, you also need to enter the course into TMS, as TMS is
the official process for obligating and recording all individual and group
USGS training.
