Hello,
We are shopping around to get a new laptop computer that will be used
for flow measurements with the ADCP "Workhorse" what specs would be
optimal for this purpose.

Subject: [Acoustics] WinRiver and Windows XP
I had Winriver running earlier today but was not processing any data.
My computer was running surprisingly slow, and I looked at what was
sucking up the time. It turned out to be WinRiver (10.06), to the tune
of 90-plus percent of the processor's time.
My operating system is Windows XP and I'm connected to a LAN in what I
imagine is a typical way.
Has anyone else noticed this?
