[Acoustics] correction for incorrect salinity

I have several discharge measurement where incorrect salinity values were
entered. From the literature I have determined and error of 12 ppt produces
a change in the sound of speed of 1%, which results in a 1% error in
velocity. Does this hold true for depth measurements as well? If the depth
and velocity are affected the same would the error be additive? It is
possible to Batch export (.DIS file) with the correct salinity but only the
measured data is export and not any of the estimated data. Does anyone have
any experience post processing ADP files that contains salinity errors? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
