Hi all,
I'll wade in on the laptop discussion with one comment. Based on my
experience with earlier models, I agree that the Toughbook is a good
machine. However, I recently opted for a non-ruggedized laptop because the
Toughbook was more expensive, slower, and was not available with a complete
accidental damage warranty. While a ruggedized machine is more likely to
hold up to getting wet or dropped, it is not infallible.
I'll let you know how the warranty holds up if my laptop does get dropped!
