Roy,
We are using bluetooth radios with are Rios routinely and have been very
pleased with their performance. We are using the Promi SD-202 with a
dipole antenna. I have been getting the radios with antennas for about
$140/radio. Jon Hortness did a quick range test while we were in
California last year, and the radios were still communicating with no
problems at 300+ meters.

Let me know if you have any questions,
John

[Acoustics] Rio's and bluetooth serial connections

Has anyone used a bluetooth serial radio to connect their laptop to a
Rio? These things can transmit up to 100 meters. If your only using one
com port, using these radios could be pretty easy. I'd appeciate any
feedback.
