[Acoustics] INI2XML file conversion problems w/Streampro files

I have experienced problems with the file conversions as well. The
problems that we have seen is that the edge estimates and starting edge
are lost when we convert with INI2XML. Lately, I have just converted it
and put the edge estimates and starting edge in manually in Winriver. It
is a very frustrating process. Another gentleman in our office has much
more experience using the conversion file and has helped me several times.
He has had success on occasion. Sometimes it works, sometimes it
doesn't. We haven' t been able to completely figure it out. Sorry I
can't offer a solution, but at least you know you're not alone.

Has anyone else had problems converting StreamPro files using the INI2XML
software? We have used the StreamPro w/o problem since Mar. of 05, but
recently developed a problem processing the files for use with Winriver
Playback. We are not sure if this is a USGS Administrative rights issue or
something to do with the RDI software. A series of trouble shooting
sessions with the RDI service dept. has not solved our dilemma. Any
feedback would be appreciated.
