David,
If you instal the latest version of StreamPro software, available in the Customer Support area of the RD Instruments web site, 'mark bad below bottom' is turned on by default. There is no method to do this by default in older versions of StreamPro. You should also install the new version of StreamPro firmware, also availlable from our web site. This is not required but is recommended.
Note: 'mark bad below bottom' only affects display of data and does not change the discharge value.

When using the utility program INI2XML.exe to convert the StreamPro xml
files to WinRiver w.000
Format I have noticed that this program sets the "mark bad below bottom"
to NO. When displaying in winriver the "mark bad below bottom" has to be
set manually to YES each time to remove the extra 'bad' bins below the
bottom track depth.
Is there a way to have "mark bad below bottom" set to YES by default.
