[Acoustics] Question on laptops

I need some advice on laptops.  We are looking at purchasing an Itronix GoBook VR-1 semi-rugged laptop.  Has anyone used this brand or exact model of laptop before?  If so, did you have any communication problems talking to an RDI or Sontek ADCP?

We also are looking at Rugged Notebooks model Rough Rider Jr. Mini with the Docking Station.  Has anyone used this model with the docking station attached during measurements?  We are leaning towards this one since it has 3 serial ports (one on laptop and two on docking station) and most others have only one.

I would appreciate any information on these.
