[Acoustics] WinRiver 001 configuration files

I've run into a difficulty with the edit and freeze option in WinRiver
playback ( version 10.06 ).  When I use this option to make a global change
in the edge coefficients, the software behaves as expected; that is, all
transects processed during this invocation of the program have the modifed
edge coefficients.

However, only some of the 001 configuration files are modified so that they
contain records of the form

   [Discharge]
   River Left Edge Type=2
   Left Edge Slope Coeff=0.8
   River Right Edge Type=2
   Right Edge Slope Coeff=0.6 

Therefore, the results are only partly sticky.  If I process the same files
again (not using edit and freeze), some of the transects have the original
(i.e., field set) edge coefficients and others have the modified ones.

Has anyone noticed this behavior?  Thanks.
