[Acoustics] EWRI Conference in Alaska

Hello all,

If you are attending the conference in Alaska next week and are
interested in participating in a technical group involved with Hydraulic
Measurements, then I would like to invite you to attend a meeting of the
EWRI Technical Committee on Hydraulic Measurements and Experimentation.

We will be looking for new members to the committee.  But more
importantly will be discussing and formulating new task committees on
acoustic Doppler measurements, Remote autonomous sampling (remote
sensing), and Image based Measurement Techniques and best practices.  So
if you are interested in these topics, we would like to hear your
ideas.

We will also be discussing how to involve instrumentation manufacturers
in our committee work.  So all you VENDORS with exhibits at the
conference and who want to send a representative to the meeting you will
be welcome.  

If you can't attend the meeting, and you would like to discuss this
topic with me I will be at the conference Monday - Thursday.  So please
feel free to speak with me about the committee activities.


The Technical Committee meeting will be held:
May 17, 2005 (Tuesday), 7:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.
