[Acoustics] Index Velocity class - deadline changed to November 15, 2004

The purpose of this email is to remind you to submit nominations for the 
training class, "Streamflow Records Computation using Hydroacoustic Current 
Meters and Index-Velocity Methods", to be held in Atlanta, GA, November 30 
-December 3, 2004.  We have 6 nominations at present, and a minimum of 12 
USGS attendees are needed to proceed with the class.

Please submit nominations by close of business November 15, 2004.  The 
deadline has been extended due to a planned outage of the web server used 
for enrolling students in the class (November 10-11, 2004).  If you are 
nominated for the class or intend to nominate someone, please send an email 
to the class coordinator, Marc Stewart (mastewar at usgs.gov).  Then Marc will 
be aware of your interest and we will have a means of determining whether 
to proceed with the class, should any problems with the web server crop up.
