[Acoustics] ADCP Standards

Dear Sir,

  I am a Hydrographer from India, and presently using ADCP 
broadband 600khz RDI system, i want to know are there any Standard 
Operating Procedures, similiar to GPS in this subject available.

Can Any one help me on this subject.
