Hi:

Starting last Friday night, changes were made to the way in which servers 
that have public access (like Web servers, public ftp sites, etc.).  These 
changes were required by the Department of Interior, supposedly to help 
make our network more secure.  As a result, we had to move the location 
where the mailing list resides.  It now appears that in that move, some 
file permissions were changed.  As a consequence, if anyone sent email to 
the acoustics mailing list in the time between Friday August 29 (about 10 
pm) and yesterday afternoon, it is likely that your email did not get 
distributed.  Therefore, please re-send any such email messages.

Also, in case anyone has bookmarked it, the html archive for the acoustics 
list was also moved and is at the following 
url:  http://simon.er.usgs.gov/pipermail/acoustics/
